Dear Janet, What an incredibly beautiful web site! Wow! Cappuccino is gorgeous with a most impressive gait and stature. Obviously beautifully trained with full display of showmanship. I would be much remiss in my accolades if I didn't say you are quite some awesome team. I can't imagine what further you intend to add to this web page that I love. Janet, I am so delighted to see your much deserved awards and trophies for all your hard work and long, long travels. Keep going girl, you're doing great!! Love and many more blessings, Mary Ellen

wow, janet it's gorgeous! both the perfect pictures of you and capp. AND the pictures of capp's other friends--what a fun way to see family, surrounded by the animals that they've loved. it makes me smile at every single picture. keep updating it--it's so much fun to look at all of them! i must say, my favorite is the one with "peter's favorite chicken"--just gorgeous! my mum is here now--what fun! we'll be a bit more sedentary than originally planned as she twisted her ankle in the dark, but i know we'll have a good time. love, jess.

Wow! Janet! You must be so proud--it's really quite an article. It's funny--I think your family members are so used to you doing amazing, adventurous things and just pulling yourself up by your own will when things don't go the way you had hoped, that we forget how amazing your life is. Seeing your adventures written by someone else, in an official format, published, helped me look at it again and say "WOW". I bet it was fun to talk to the reporter, too, to tell your story. Love, JJ

Just wanted to let you know I read the article about you and Cap in ShowLife. Wow, the author really did a great job. Guess she really did her homework. If she could have been here the last couple years she would have really been amazed. It's great to live here at a marina and be able to watch you train Cappuccino while sitting on the back deck of my boat. It makes me reflect back on some of those wild and crazy times. You know, like the times Cap would drag you around the ring or when he flipped the wagon over, but my favorite is listening to you tell about the time he bit your finger and wouldn't let go. You know I've always wondered where you get all that energy and zest for life. Well, the other day I was talking to (your daughter) Jennifer. She was rushing to get Jan Jan to tennis practice and then to violin lessons. I asked her how she kept up a pace like that. She looked at me and said, "everyone should have a passion in life and I'm just helping Jan Jan find hers." --Gee, I wonder where she got that idea?? Way to go, mom!!!!

Wow, Janet, we just read the story (in ShowLife Magazine)on you and Cappuccino. As Jim said, "Well, we always knew she was remarkable, we just didn't realize HOW remarkable." I am most dumbfounded that you had a brain tumor, major sugery, and then took it upon yourself to recover...Congratulations to the author of this article), who truly did capture your outstanding essence. Your kids must be SO proud of you. Heck, we're proud just to know you and call you "friend." I'm passing this on to Mac and Peg right now and then I'll put it on the bulletin board, or maybe in the library where everyone can, like me, be aghast at your accomplishments. Love, Joan

Hi Janet, Congratulations once again on your success with Cappuccino. Champion again. Most people when they are approaching the three-quarters of a century mark, sit on the couch complacently basking in their successes from the past. You, however, continue to face each day like a 20 year old, looking for new challenges and new horizons. And now you may be on TV to celebrate the pony with whom you share your life at age 70+. And there will be a story about Aloysius, to celebrate the pony who was by your side when you were a young mother with small children, the pony who with your guidance, learned the gently rocking canter that was safe for a three year old. Love, Alice
